LCD module with I2C interface board assembled
Used for many purposes in electronic projects including Raspberry Pi and Arduino
The pinout of the LCD is :
- Ground
- VCC (+5V)
- Contrast adjustment (VO)
- Register Select (RS). RS=0: Command, RS=1: Data
- Read/Write (R/W). R/W=0: Write, R/W=1: Read
- Enable
- Bit 0
- Bit 1
- Bit 2
- Bit 3
- Bit 4
- Bit 5
- Bit 6
- Bit 7
- LED Backlight Anode (+)
- LED Backlight Cathode (-)
I2C version requires only VCC, GND ,SCL and SDA wires
