  • The RockRose mini is a cross between the rRooster and the RockRose, no keyer like the Rooster but styled like the RockRose with a two channel switch instead of the RIT control.

Is this the smallest and lowest cost 2 watt trasceiver around? we think so!

A cross between the well know Rooster and the newer RockRose, smaller than the Rooster but same style as the RockRose. NO BUILT IN KEYER, just for straight  keys. This was offered as a kit at the Blackpool rally in 2023 and quickly sold out in just a few hours. The kit can be built for one of a number of bands depending on the band pack selected at the time of purchase.

These RockRoses mini's have two frequencies of operation not one like the Rooster.

By switching the offset around  two different frequencies can be used so you can QSY if one is in use. ( the same idea is used in the well know RockMite from Small Wonder Labs )

For example the 40m version give two frequencies  7.030 and 7.0308MHz .

On 40m , 2 watt output as per the Rooster.

30M @1.5Watts, 20m@ 1Watt, 60m@2 Watts

The case is a little smaller than the Rooster and the antenna connector is more low profile too, looks more compact than the Rooster.
